About us

Health Link believes in the tremendous potential of libraries and we are committed to taking our work in this area further.

Health Link is a not for profit company limited by guarantee. Our staff and committee members have many years' experience of speaking up for patients and influencing the NHS.

We work on new ways of linking up communities and the NHS, drawing in the views of marginalised groups to give them influence, and helping turn words into action for improved health and health services.

Partnership for Patients was a project created and led by Health Link, and supported by the Department of Health. In 10 pilot communities, librarians have been trained to help patients navigate local NHS services.
